Located inside the Falcon Center, the Robert P. Knowles Fieldhouse features a newly surfaced 6-lane 200m competition track/ 8-lane straight away for 60m sprints and hurdles. (resurfaced Sept 2019). The facility’s infield surface allows for all spike specific field events to take place including 1 runway for pole vault, 1 runway and pit for horizontal jumps, and high jump. At the north corner of the facility, we have two portable throws circles and a cage that drops from the ceiling to allows for all throwing events to safely be completed.
The Falcon Center for Health, Education and Wellness is a comprehensive indoor and outdoor facility that supports Health & Human Performance, Falcon Athletics, Campus Recreation, and the University as a whole.
Falcon Center is comprised of a 15,000 square foot fitness center (including cardio and weight training), 3 academic classrooms, 1 active learning classroom, a state-of-the-art performance lab, 3 multi–purpose studios, indoor climbing center, auxiliary gym, NCAA competition venues for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, softball, soccer, track & field, and football.
